How we prepare your software development quote
Your answers give us what we need for a useful first reply: what you want to build, where the project stands, the platforms and features involved, your budget range and timing, and who will make the decision. With that, we can suggest an approach, flag risks early and give a realistic range — instead of a generic price list.
Every quote follows our software development process: a short discovery call, then a written proposal with a phased scope, timeline and price under one of our engagement models.
Small budgets are welcome
Projects start from under $5,000. A focused first release — a landing site, an internal tool, an integration or an MVP — is often the best way to start, with larger features added in later phases. For typical ranges by project type, see our software development cost guide.
Tips for a faster, more accurate quote
- Describe the problem and the people who will use the software, not only the features.
- Mention any systems it must connect to, such as your CRM, accounting or payment provider.
- Share links to designs, documents or similar products if you have them.
- Tell us about fixed dates — a launch, a trade show or a contract renewal.
